NICK TOMASELLO, CEO, GC, MANAGING PARTNER
Nick Tomasello is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nu-Line Partners Inc. Nick has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry and has gained a reputation as a skilled professional in his field. As CEO, Nick oversees all aspects of the construction process, ensuring each project is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. His dedication to excellence is reflected in the numerous successful projects Nu-Line Partners has completed under his leadership.
Nick is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), where he majored in Economics and Business, graduating with honors. Nick’s passion for construction began during his time at UCSB, where he developed an interest in business and entrepreneurship. He has used this passion to build a thriving construction company that specializes in creating unique, functional spaces that meet the needs of his clients.
When he’s not busy managing construction projects, Nick enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new culinary experiences, and playing water polo. His commitment to excellence, passion for construction, and dedication to his clients have made him a leader in the construction industry, and Nu- Line Partners Inc one of the most respected construction companies in the Ventura area.
FRANK TOMASELLO, FOUNDING PARTNER, GC
Frank Tomasello founded Nu-Line Partners Inc. With over 50 years of experience in the construction industry, Frank established himself as a leader in the field and a respected figure in the Ventura community. Frank’s journey in construction began as a union carpenter, working his way up through the ranks to become a successful contractor and business owner. In 1984, he founded Tasco Construction, which later merged with Nu-Line Partners when his son Nick became a partner in the firm. As founder, Frank’s leadership and vision were instrumental in the growth and success of Nu-Line Partners. His dedication to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service earned him a reputation as one of the most competitive construction firms in Ventura County.
In 2024, Frank passed away due to a long term illness. He is succeed in the business by his wife Kellie and son Nick. Frank was an extraordinary man that built our company from the ground up. He will be very missed by all of our Nu-Line team, but his legacy continues to live on with every project we build.
KELLIE TOMASELLO, CFO, PARTNER
Kellie Tomasello is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Nu-Line Partners Inc. With over 20 years of experience in construction accounting and finances, Kellie has been an integral part of the company’s growth and success. Kellie’s journey in the construction industry began when she started working with her husband Frank, the founder of Nu-Line Partners, to build the company from the ground up. She juggled her role in the company with raising five children, and was the ultimate mom in every sense of the word. As CFO, Kellie oversees all aspects of the company’s finances, ensuring that the company operates efficiently and effectively. Her expertise in financial management and her commitment to excellence have been instrumental in the growth and success of Nu-Line Partners.
Outside of work, Kellie enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren, exploring new foods, and traveling with her loved ones. Her commitment to her family and her community is reflected in her involvement in several charitable organizations in the Ventura area. Kellie’s dedication to her family, her community, and her work make her an invaluable member of the Nu-Line Partners team. Her expertise in construction accounting and her commitment to excellence have helped make Nu-Line Partners one of the most successful construction companies in Ventura County.
WILLAIM COVARRUBIAS, CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS MANAGER
William Covarrubias stands as the Operations Manager for Nu-Line Partners Inc, a leading construction company based in Ventura. With an impressive 25-year track record in the industry, William is the driving force behind the seamless execution of Nu-Line's construction operations.
As a licensed electrician and seasoned construction professional, William has navigated the competitive landscape of commercial construction, leaving his mark on numerous large-scale projects throughout Southern California. His expertise extends to every facet of the construction process, ensuring that Nu-Line delivers projects that not only meet but exceed client expectations.
In his role as Operations Manager, William spearheads all active construction operations, effectively managing interactions with clients, design professionals, and subcontractors. His commitment to precision and quality is evident in every project Nu-Line undertakes, making him an invaluable asset to the company.
MARIA COVARRUBIAS, LEAD PROJECT MANAGER
Maria, our highly motivated project manager who brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, scheduling, project coordination, and financial management to the team. With a background in electrical work and a transition to General Contracting, Maria’s skills and knowledge of the industry are diverse and valuable. Maria is a strong communicator and team player who excels in managing projects from start to finish, ensuring successful completion within budget and timeline. Her dedication to her work and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to the team.
What Maria enjoys most about the construction industry is the constant change and challenge that comes with each project. Her ability to adapt to different situations and problem-solve on the fly is a testament to her skills as a project manager. In her free time, Maria enjoys the outdoors and going to live sports events. She is a true team player both in and out of the office, and we are lucky to have her on our team.
ALEX COWANS, PROJECT MANAGER
Alex brings a unique perspective to our team. With 4 years of experience in both fieldwork and administrative roles in the construction industry, he has become a valuable asset to our organization. He graduated from CSU Channel Islands with a Bachelor’s in Performing Arts, with Emphases in Theatre, Dance, and Music. One of his favorite things about construction is watching how a space transforms over the course of a project. He enjoys seeing the progress from start to finish and takes great satisfaction in being part of the team that makes it happen.
He brings a creative approach to his work and always strives to find new and innovative ways to approach each project. In his free time, our project coordinator is an avid performer. He enjoys acting, dance, and music, using his creative talents to express himself in different ways. He also has a passion for baking, experimenting with new recipes and techniques to create delicious treats for family and friends. With his diverse background and creative approach, our project manager brings a unique perspective to our construction projects. He is dedicated to ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standard, always going above and beyond to exceed client expectations.
PAUL SARDONIA, SR. SUPERINTENDENT, GC
Paul is a seasoned construction professional with an impressive 39 years of experience in the industry. As a senior superintendent, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to any project he oversees. Throughout his career, Paul has demonstrated a deep passion for building structures. His dedication to his craft is evident in the exceptional quality of his work and his unwavering commitment to ensuring that every project he works on is completed to the highest standards.
In addition to his work in construction, Paul is also an accomplished craftsman in his free time. He loves to build furniture, using his skills and experience to create beautiful, functional pieces that are built to last. He also enjoys cooking, and has a very refined palate for wines. Despite his many accomplishments, Paul remains humble and always eager to learn and grow as a professional. He is a true asset to any construction team, and his dedication and expertise have earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike.
PETER VANG, SUPERINTENDENT/PROJECT MANAGER
Pete, our construction superintendent/project manager, who brings 28 years of experience to our team. With prior knowledge of electrical work, he has proven himself to be a valuable asset to our projects since he started with us. One of his favorite aspects of construction is the opportunity to bring new life to old buildings. He enjoys the challenge of revitalizing existing structures and turning them into modern, functional spaces that meet the needs of today’s clients. He also takes great satisfaction in providing a quality product that exceeds client expectations.
When he’s not on the job, Pete enjoys a variety of hobbies. He is an avid practitioner of capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that combines dance, music, and acrobatics. He also loves to play music with his family. In addition, he enjoys playing golf as a way to relax and unwind. With his years of experience and passion for construction, our superintendent is a vital member of our team. His dedication to quality and attention to detail ensures that every project is completed to the highest standard.
